I don't trust anyone who doesn't smoke pot

The other day I was on the phone with Max and he was talkin to me for a while about scrubbing his wall. Apparently it has turned black because of the next door chicken killing house's smoke.

I leave for France in a week and a half.

I miss Rb Wntrs. Liz came back. What do people have to talk about on these things?

I was playing with the Talking Heads in Stop Making Sense. I was the bassist. We were playing at the Museum of Natural History. Something blew out and we had to pause the show everyone dispersed to find bathrooms because we all had to pee. I ended up having a large black girl show me around the museum to a bathroom. She was a fan and she worked at the museum during the day. In the bathroom we talked about periods. We parted and I went into one of the exhibits that was about wearing special glasses that reversed your eyes. My mother and father were there "ooh"ing and "ahh"ing and so was this old man who looked friendly. He was some family friend and left the exhibit with me to go look for something. He complimented me on my robot tattoo and showed me the tattoo on his wrist. He said it was a robot of the third reich and andro-humanoid (or something like that). The robot of the third reich had similar features as mine did but a different body shape and was red and blue. The andro-humanoid was perpendicular to the other one and practically joined at the head. He was black and didn't look like a robot. We went somewhere but eventually I was left in a hallway and felt bad about dicking around when the show might have eventually went back on. I call 2209 and the woman says she probably can't help me but go ahead. I ask her is the band is still playing. She says something about the show going on or went on and now being over. I go to David Byrne's room and rejoin my band. No one seems to be bothered. The whole band is there. We're listening to music as David is getting ready. His computer is an Apple and when it's time to go back on stage to play our last song (or was this all after our last song?) I have difficultly using the shortcuts I know to shut everything down. The place to shut down is called "Way Out" and I'm amazed by how personalized his computer is. A Talking Heads song plays on his computer and I think he is vain. Then when I'm the last to leave his room he runs towards me and the band completely naked hollering about how he has to go put on his clothes. I don't look at his penis when he is facing me but I look when he's dashing into his room. I see it. (here we may go on stage while I fumble over a bass. this might have already happened)

Danielle Rosa evaluating people’s work:

Odessa brought up the interesting question of what do you have to do to get people to take off their clothes? She furthered this hypothesis by bringing in a staple from classic artwork featuring naked people, the shell from the Birth of Venus, and seeing if this would prompt some nudity. Surprisingly people did get naked and she post-moderned it up with giving her models the option of censorship bars covering their no-no special places. It was nice to see people pose in the shell in different ways compared to how Venus posed in it.

Max left little white poop in stolen patches of nature. It made me ask this question of myself : what would happen if my poop came out white? I sense that his answer to that question is fairly obvious.

Revel, Revel, Revel! I revel in the overall presentation of the Makie Stacking Boxes and Photographs that Revel made for the show.

Caroline’s story of the pictures changed every time she told it to me. I admire that.

Francine doesn’t look like the type of girl who is into pus, bile, vomit and poop. But when you evaluate her friendship with Max Liebowitz you begin to see glimmers of a more sinister side, read: she’s really a tomboy. It was leaked to me that she is actually a spy for Korea and this makes me believe that she probably has to deal with blood and guts a lot so she isn’t squeamish about that kind of stuff. This piece is a blister. It is rumored to be the name of one of her greatest nemesis in the Seoul Samurai Consortium. Perhaps this is her way of wrastlin’ the fucker to the wall. Her photograph may represent how nasty “The Blister” is on a larger scale, one that threatens the normalcy of Mother Nature. But this is all if the allegations are true, and I cannot get her to confirm or deny these statements without giving me a really annoyed look while she cracks her knuckles and neck.

Stevie makes me feel good/is good in many different ways. 1. He has great hair 2. I know that waterproofing is indeed possible and all previous attempts were not a success because of my own folly. 3. Moby Dick has got to be a fantastic book and I better finish that shit 4. Whatever he’d been smoking before bathing in the Hudson River has got to be some good shit and I gotsta get me some of that. 5. His work was really presented well and… really pretty (excuse me for saying so).

Jesse is a fine craftsman.

Morgan. I liked Morgan’s project. I especially liked the idea when it was executed to look as authentic as possible, when it was attached to houses. It’s a creative way of messing with people that isn’t overtly rude and could be appreciated for is novelty

Kate brought some balloons to different places and called them teenagers, or children. You know, I thought the pictures outside were really cool. It may be because as a child movies like The Red Balloon captivated me. If they are supposed to represent teenagers, the balloons in the forest remind me of the Jennifer Lopez video “Waiting for Tonight” or raves in the forest.

Lind-Say! Did something that refers to the 7 deadly sins. Unfortunately it was not clear what that was.

Lindsey put an “out of order” sign on different objects. People didn’t use them. Kudos!

Mike believes that words are arbitrarist symbolicals for ideas. He makes a poignantical displigatory of the deconstructable quality of words (i.e. Copyright) in his project. I like the set up; I really like the picture for “Hop”. or something.

Matt’s project has been the one I get approached several times a day about. Everyone loved it! I think it’s because we as humans are attracted to shiny glitter and the sub-sub-suburban aesthetic of Yonkers. But that’s my psychological standpoint on it and I would probably know better than most because I’ve taken 3 years of college psychology. Matt was humorous with the story he presented; he was also the only person in the class to make a story with his photographs (well besides Stevie but that wasn’t so much of a story as a life choice).

Danielle Rosa out.

P.S. I liked my project in the end but I didn’t feel particularly strong about it. More of the turtles have going missing. The one off the steps to Heimbold is gone. The one in Andrews East is gone (Punk Rock Mike stole it, he showed it to me, he did not want me to hide it in other spots to see if he could find it again), the one on Bates roof is gone. There is maybe 1 or 2 more (I forgot where I left them ultimately) that I haven’t checked on.

The show really was nice.

So have been writing notes-to-self in the margins of my school books.
